The Versatile Blogger Award

It has come to my attention that I have been nominated for the Versatile Blogger award! Thank you to the wonderful (and wonderfully stylish) Bambi Schnell for nominating me. I’m truly honored and happy that you thought of me! :) For those who have not seen her blog yet, click on her name and go check it out. She has a fabulous selection of chic fashion and beauty posts in both English and French.

Here are my seven things about myself:

1. My father was Caucasian and my mother was Filipino, so I am of mixed race and usually confuse people who try to figure out where I’m from.
2. I once spent a week delving into genealogy while I was sick, and found out that Pocahontas (Matoaka/Rebecca Rolfe) is my 12th great grandmother.
3. I have Vitiligo, which means that my skin is losing its pigment. While I was born with very tan/olive skin, I am now 90% albino-like white.
4. I’m naturally nocturnal, as was my parents. Without any sleep aids, I am unable to sleep at night. It’s getting more prevalent as I get older.
5. I am an only child, an orphan, and an introvert. I feel most natural when I’m around animals.
6. My husband is my best friend and my family. :)
7. Horseback riding is in my top three activities I love best. It’s what I would rather be doing than anything else most of the time.
