Last night was the annual taking over of Medieval Times by Blizzard Entertainment. You’d think that this would be the perfect time for the Blizz folks to bust out their pointy ears, Frostmournes, and breastplates, but it was actually a fairly normal-looking crowd that gathered to cheer on the alliance or horde with their guests. Two of the Medieval Times shows were blocked out for the event, which was changed up from the normal show with World of Warcraft lore (Jaina Proudmoore, Wrathion, and Tyrion Fordring were the announcers!)  and the knights all represented key Blizzard characters.

My makeup for the event. No filter. :)

My husband and I sat in the black and white knight’s section, led by Jim Raynor. Other notable knights were Tyrael and Imperius from Diablo III, and King Varian Wrynn and Garrosh Hellscream leading the alliance and horde, respectively. While all of the knights (and the staff in general) did a great job Blizz-ifying the show, I was really impressed with Garrosh. Prosthetic makeup, fangs, and a badass attitude really made him the star of the show.

The knights!

Husband and me. This accurately sums up our personalities, I think.

The menu was made up of garlic bread and tomato soup for appetizers, roast chicken, beef ribs, and a baked potato for the main course, an apple pastry for dessert, and soda, iced tea, water, or drinks from the bar to round everything out.

Of course

Click here to see the much-anticipated (and very satisfying) video of horde vs. alliance!

And, as a bonus, here is a video of the peons dancing. I wonder how long it took them to practice this?
