The Product: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer
Yays:
- Full coverage that lasts for hours without needing touch-ups
- Dries to a matte finish that doesn’t require extra powder to set
- Completely budge-proof when dry, even on my oily skin
- Hasn’t broken me out
Nays:
- Not a huge fan of the doe-foot applicator. I would have preferred a little squeeze tube, so I could have more control over how it’s applied.
- The shades are a little bit difficult to judge online. (I know, it’s best to go to a store to get matched anyway, but I’m lazy! And horribly busy.)
Final Verdict: This is one of those products that I had seen so many people reviewing (and giving rave reviews) that my curiosity and inner lemming were piqued. And, honestly, it’s worth the hype. I have used some of the industry favorites (Laura Mercier, MAC, Cle de Peau, Dermablend, Yves St. Laurent, to name a few) and this beats them all out of the water – even though the shade I picked is slightly mismatched! It’s silky and thin, like the YSL, but full-coverage and stays in place. I have experienced absolutely no creasing or melting off, which is a relief when I’m running around in 90-degree weather. As an added bonus, at $28 a tube, this was quite reasonably priced. I would definitely purchase this again, although I think I will go to an actual brick and mortar store to play with colors, as the Vanilla didn’t quite match my skin tone even though it was described as fair with pink undertones.
