Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream

The Product: Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil

Yays:

  • I love that it can be used to moisturize anywhere. One little tube to cover my hands, face, arms, lips, under eye area, and more? Yes, please.
  • The product is very easy to spread around, so a little goes a long way.
  • This feels very luxurious when used as a lip balm. My lips (initially) feel so plump and nice after application.
  • I have not experienced any breaking out when I used this as a face moisturizer.

Nays:

  • I have problems with the consistency. Is it a cream? Is it an oil? It seems to have a low melting point, so I never really know what’s going to come gushing out of the tube. This is a problem when I’m, you know, not in the mood to have oil stains all over my clothing.
  • While it’s very moisturizing initially, my skin actually feels drier after I have had this on for a bit. I noticed my lips needed more exfoliating, my cuticles getting dry and ragged, and my face both dry patches and enlarged pores.

Final Verdict: As much as I love the idea of having an all-natural, multi-use product, I’m going to have to say nay. I’ve opened this tube only to have the product come spilling out all over me a few too many times, and I don’t like that my skin actually ends up dryer after using it. I think it works best as a lip balm, though even that is not perfect. (Alternatively, I hear that Elizabeth Arden’s 8-Hour Cream is similar in it’s utility and works great. Can anyone confirm this? I’d love to hear your opinions!)
